News for Wednesday, January 27, 2010 Back during the 13th of this month we reported that Lucasarts was hiring a "Multiplayer/ Networking Engineer" for the platforms PS3 and Xbox 360. Well that job was just taken. Click here to see. Notice it says "This job is inactive" at the top. That means the the job position has been taken. And yes, back when that job listing first came up that was not there, nor the next month it was up. Looks like there is hope for Star Wars Battlefront 3 yet!!! Click here to see the interview. Some of the interview really leaves us with something to think about. Were some of those renders we saw user generated? As in the interview the ex-employee says that some of the renders we saw were never part of the Battlefront 3 project. This is what they had to say. Us: "Who is publishing Star Wars Battlefront 3?" Gamestop HQ: "Lucasarts is publishing it." Us: "Do you know when we will be seeing this game?" Gamestop HQ: "It will be coming out soon. Sometime around 2010." Us: Who is the Developer? Gamestop HQ: "We don't know." (We're still searching for info on that one) This is another quote they said: "This game will be out sometime in the early or middle of 2010." WE called 2, yes we said it, 2 (TWO) different Gamestop HQ Employees' and talked to both of their managers as well. And both of them stated this. So get ready folks!!! Our dream game may be here!!!!
